We are often asked for restaurant recommendations, things to do, etc. by visitors to the places we have lived. Here are suggestions for:

	Amsterdam, The Netherlands
	Bay Area, pertains mostly to the Peninsula area (San Francisco to San Jose)
	Redmond, Washington area

Helpful Hints:

	CHEESE: Finding delicious cheese in Amsterdam or Paris is no problem, however its much more difficult in the US. In the Bay Area, the best selections we've found are at The Milk Pail in Mountain View and Oakville Grocery at the Stanford Mall. Or have the cheese brought to your front door from Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor, MI -- they even carry Gouda!
	CHOCOLATE: The best chocolates in Amsterdam come from Puccini. I recommend the fig or the port chocolates, and if you are adventurous try the lemongrass or the pepper.
