The AWCA Learning Resources committee organized a seminar for AWCA members on "Having a Baby in Holland". The Dutch way differs vastly from the American way -- "Pregnancy is not an illness, so why would you need a hospital?" The seminar's purpose was to settle the fears of many of the members and show that you can have a successful, happy pregnancy and birth experience in Holland..

Linda T, the seminar organizer, entertained Thijs and Erik during the discussion.

The panel consisted of 6 women (Lynne, Thea, Kyna, Kathleen, Maria and Emily) who had given birth in Holland. Thea was the only one who gave birth at home.

After the panel, Thijs crashed on the couch while Thea and Erik answered questions. Thea was wearing her latest "Tracht" -- a green linen jacket from Regensburg.
